Here's something I once wrote to myself:
"There are days when we forget just who we are and what we've been taught; days later, something happens, and we remember once more.
There's always that tendency to want to feel bad for having forgotten in the first place.
Don't do that!
Our Father in his mercy, reminded us. He did a re-introduction. He understands that there are times when we falter, and in his teaching us, he picks us up in spite of our lapses, and loves us back on track.
Remember forever that you are held. And as you follow him with an open heart, he will never let you stray off for long."
I thought I'd write a whole lot today. But frankly, I feel too tired to do so. So, in addition to this, I'll just drop a scripture:
When I said, My foot is slipping, Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, held me up.
—Psalm 94:18
