I know you want to make your mark here on the earth(Truthfully, everyone does. Though some have yet to come to terms with it or have failed to admit it to themselves.).
For some of us, the numbers of those they want to affect directly matter. To others, they don't.
Be that as it may, I've got something to share with you. Follow me keenly please. Here are somethings I want you to know. Something's God wants you to know:
1. Come to terms with the fact that you do have a voice. Some people have realised this, and it is with this they make the waves we feel now, both locally and globally.
2. Realise that you have a voice! Know that it is God-given and it exists! It does exist!
You might not have nurtured it yet to even half of it's function, but it is there. Within you is the potential for so much more.
3.Realise that this voice is the only kind you'll ever find on this earth at this point in time, and it is important. There will never be another you. You have the choice to share what God has put in you with the rest of the world, or hide it away till your time on earth is done and the earth suffers from a loss it never understood how it ended up with but is daily assured of its presence in the things it still lacks.
4. The fact that you may not stand in the limelight or at the forefront doesn't change the importance of that voice. Ever listened to those songs where you know that even with the lead singer's amazing voice, it would have never become the major buzz it is today without the orchestra in the background or the supporting singers? Yeah, that's a perfect example. Beloved, there's a gift that God can give to this world only through you. It's true, you're a one part in a never ending symphony, but in His eyes(something the world or even you may not see yet) you're an important part of the song. Without you, there might be a note missing that may never be heard in this time again. It's true you're not the hero of the world's story: Jesus is. But your rendition of this tale of His love is bound to affect this world in ways you could never fathom.
5. Acknowledge the truth! You are uniquely you, made by God to suit His taste. You are an original masterpiece made by Him. Not a copy of any other masterpiece already made or on their own journey of expression to the world. God has made in you, released within you, your own blend of God-colours, your own pleasant tune, your unique ways with words, for the sole purpose of letting His light shine through you and be expressed in the way He knew only you could do. In your you-nique way. Remember that in all of this, there'll always be a place for complements and just like in a well thought out song, accompaniments too during certain points of the journey.
So realise this. And don't take up unnecessary pressure by comparing yourself to anyone, irrespective of your similarities or basic foundations. Walk with God. Walk with Him and see the layout for your life through His eyes. Oh, the wonders you're bound to see and encounter when you let go of life's undue pressures and walk in the way and manner He has called you to. Learn to be undeniably you – the you God has called to realise and express, and let the world drink out of your pure, unsullied fountain.
